about the farm

Perma 1 Fresh™ is a biodynamic farm that exemplifies best practices in Regenerative thought, guided by Permaculture principles which include agriculture, water harvesting, renewable energy, natural building, agroforestry, waste management, animal systems, appropriate technology, economics and community development. 

The Regenerative Design for Perma 1 Fresh™ is guided by the principles of “sustainability, integrating environmental, social, ecological and economic considerations”.

The farm is fed by organic manure only – farmyard manure and concoctions created using cow dung, Cow Urine and a number of things originating at the farm (jeevamrutha, ghanajeevamrutha, panchagavya, etc)

The farm is well irrigated using an efficient drip irrigation system supported by Venturi pumps and a large  85,000 Lts capacity underground tank where rainwater is collected and used during the summers 

What the farm offers: An intense poly fruit orchard with multiple trees of about 40+ varieties of fruits. In addition to this, we have seasonal farm crops like - Cereals, Coffee, Pulses, Spices, vegetables, etc. and a variety of farm produces.

Fruits: Seasonal:

Papaya (Red Lady), Banana – Yelakki, Robusta and Nendra, Star Fruit (sweet variety) , Kumquat, Grape fruit- Paloma, Sour sop, gooseberry, Lychee, Rose apple, Avocado, Cashew nut, Sapota, Mosambi, Heraleka, Amla, Guava (Allahabad white, Taiwan pink & Black, Thailand White & Red), Nagpur Orange, Mulberry, Pomegranate, Wood Apples, Walnut, Apple, Lemons, Citrons, Bimbli, Jamun, Jackfruit, Figs, Tamarind, Rambutan, Mangosteen, Dragon Fruit, Drumstick.

Bay Leaf, Nutmeg, Cloves, Cardamom.

Pulses: Pigeon Pea (Toor Dal), Green Gram (Sabut Moong), Horse Gram, Ground Nut, Tamarind (De-seeded & cleaned), Urdal.
